Highway 174 is one of the three major four lane highways in Greater Ottawa (the other ones are Highway 416 and Highway 417). Highway 174 mainly passes through Orleans. Unlike the other major 4-lane highways, there are no exit numbers. It is also the shortest of the 4-Lane Highways, traveling for just 16 kilometres over just 5 exits.
